Anita Levy-Jones, representing Melvin L. “Kip” Holden, Mayor-President of the City of Baton Rouge and the Parish of East Baton Rouge, presents a Proclamation to Joyce Turner-Keller of Aspirations — February 7, 2006, proclaiming this date National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Ms Jones read from the Proclamation, Whereas: Aspirations a non-profit organization that was organized to serve the needs of a hurting people, regardless of race, creed , gender preference, age, or social class, infected with or affected by the HIV/AIDS virus.
