Open Door Policy

Aspirations opened its doors to lodge the “Soul of the South Caravan,” as they journeyed from Brownsville, Texas to Washington, D.C., to remind our elected officials of the pressing need for funding, housing, medicine, and mental health programs. Aspirations prepared a feast fit for a king, for its’ guest during their stay in Baton Rouge. Talmadge Dixon, a Louisiana State Trooper, gave the “Caravan” a financial donation to assist them in their travel. Trooper Dixon’s financial support for the “Caravan” was instrumental in assisting Aspirations to take special care of its’  guests.
