A round table discussion with “Soul of the South Caravan,” Volunteers of America, Metro Health, Southern University Service Learning Students, and Aspirations openly warned of the role “silence” plays in the spread of HIV/AIDS. It was mentioned time after time why it is necessary to talk about the disease, disclose to your partner, know their status, always get tested, get test results, and practice safer sex or abstain.
